Small Business Administration COVID-19 Disaster Loan Program

SBA Logo U.S. Small Business Administration is now accepting applications for low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital (Economic Injury Disaster Loans) for small businesses and private, non-profit organizations.  The entire State of California is now designated as eligible for assistance. Interested businesses are encouraged to apply sooner rather than later as applications will be processed on a first-come-first-serve basis. To access SBA assistance, go to the Disaster Loan Assistance portal.

EXIM Bank Extends Program Waivers, Other Provisions During COVID-19 Outbreak 

ExIm Bank EXIM is offering relief measures, including waivers, deadline extensions, streamlined processing, and flexibility, to its customers for an initial period of 30 days (with the possibility of a further extension of the period, at EXIM’s discretion) for the following programs: Working Capital Guarantee Program, Multi-Buyer and Single-Buyer Short-Term Insurance Program, and Medium-Term Single-Buyer Insurance Policies Issued to Exporters.  Learn more here.

California Competes Tax Credit Webinar

Go-Biz Logo The California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) is an income or franchise tax credit available to businesses that want to come to or stay and grow in California.  For Fiscal Year 2019/2020, the remaining application period is March 9-30, 2020. There is at least $73 million in tax credit available during this application period for businesses that are expanding and adding full-time jobs in the state. The deadline to submit applications is Monday, March 30, at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) and the online application website will automatically close once this deadline has passed.  Learn more about the tax credit and how to apply by joining the March 24 webinar offered by the Governor’s Office/GO-Biz.  Register here
