PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
The registration fee for Symposium registration will depend on your ticket type. All fees must be paid at the time of registration. Once payment is finalized, no adjustment, reimbursements, or discounts may be applied and all fees are non-refundable. All tickets for the Symposium are non-transferable and SVCAUVSI will not accommodate requests for substitution.
GOVERNMENT, ACADEMIC, AND NON-PROFIT RATE
Current full-time employees of U.S. federal, state or local government agencies and current full-time employees of international government agencies, as well as current students and full-time employees of a non-profit organization may purchase their Symposium ticket for a price as listed on order form with validation by badge, identification, or other form of valid verification upon check-in at the Symposium. Please note that if SVCAUVSI is unable to verify or validate your status, you may be denied entry.
Public Officials and Employees: By registering you represent you will comply with all applicable ethics rules and regulations in connection with your attendance, including any reporting obligations. If you are prohibited from accepting SVCAUVSI hospitality at this event, arrangements can be made to provide you with an invoice. PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDING
SVCAUVSI reserves the right to use images taken at the Symposium that include your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials. By registering and attending the Symposium, you acknowledge that your participation and attendance may result in you being photographed or otherwise recorded by official event photographers and videographers, and that these images or recordings may be distributed publicly in association with the Symposium. The Symposium is held in a private space and participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations or other companies are prohibited from photographing, video-recording or taping Symposium activities or attendees for any reason.
TRESPASSING AND THEFT OF SERVICES
The views expressed by any Symposium attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of SVCAUVSI or its affiliates and subsidiaries. All Symposium attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online content.
Due to reasons outside of SVCAUVSI’s control, the Symposium may be postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled without liability on the part of SVCAUVSI. SVCAUVSI shall not be held responsible for any delay or failure in performance of its obligations hereunder to the extent such delay or failure is caused by fire, flood, strike, civil, governmental or military authority, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of war, epidemics, the availability of the Venue or other similar causes beyond its reasonable control In the event the Symposium cannot be held or is postponed for one of the above reasons, Symposium shall not be liable to any attendee for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation costs, accommodations costs, or financial losses, and shall only be responsible for refunding the registration fee to the attendee.
